The short version
No ads, no trackers, no selling of data. Banger keeps the least it can to list coins and pay the right person.
What the site handles
- Public posts
- When a post is pasted, we read it from X the way an embed does: its text, picture, and its author's public name, handle, avatar and account number.
- Logging in with X
- X tells us your account number, handle, name and avatar. We don't receive your password, email, messages or followers, and we don't keep the access X grants.
- Login cookie
- A signed cookie that remembers who you logged in as, for 7 days. It is not used for anything else.
- Payout wallet
- The Solana address you give us. Payments to it are public on the blockchain, as all Solana transfers are.
- Your own wallet
- If you connect one to launch a coin, the connection stays in your browser. We never see its keys.
- In your browser
- Theme and sidebar preferences, kept in local storage on your device.
Other services involved
Pages load coin data from DexScreener and pictures from pump.fun and X, and launching talks to pump.fun and the Solana network. Those services see the requests your browser makes to them and apply their own policies.
People whose posts became coins
Your public name, handle and avatar appear on a page showing what your posts have earned, because that page is how you find out money is waiting. To have it removed, or to stop new coins being made from your posts, see the For creators page.
